 Welcome to Beaverton MOPS—a gathering place for moms with young children (birth through kindergarten) that offers connections, community, resources and support. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) exists to meet the needs of every mom—urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms—moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!
We are better together. Whether you need a friend to compare stories with, a shoulder to lean on (and sometimes to cry on), or ideas to help you become a better mom—Beaverton MOPS is the place for you! Come join us and know that you are not alone on your mothering journey.
During the school year, we meet twice monthly at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton, OR. Our meetings include:
- Insightful speakers
- Small mom-to-mom discussion groups
- Mentoring and guidance by seasoned mothers
- Creative activities and crafts
- Quality, loving childcare (MOPPETS)
- Fabulous brunch and espresso bar
- Relaxing fellowship
Registration to join MOPS for 2011-2012 is now full. If you are a mom who would like to be placed on our waiting list, please submit your name, address, phone number, email address and children's names and ages to beavertonmops@gmail.com. You will be contacted if a space becomes available.
Time to prepare: our 2nd "Swap and Drop" of the year will be at our next meeting on January 27th. If you have quality baby/ kids/ maternity clothes or items that you would like to pass on, please bring them. Everyone is free to grab anything they might use and anything left will be donated.
