Well children
Please bring only well children to MOPPETS. For details on when to keep your child at home, refer to the Illness Policy in your handbook and on display at the front desk of the nursery.

Registration
Every child in MOPPETS must have a mother or legal guardian registered in MOPS and on premises at all times. Only registered MOPPETS will be accepted in the program (with the exception of no-school days).

Hours
MOPPETS hours are 8:45–11:45 a.m. Please no early drop-offs or late pickups!

No-school days
There are several no-school days that coincide with our MOPS meetings this year. On these days, your older school-aged children can enjoy a program that will follow a Vacation Bible School format, including a Bible story, craft, games, and snack. If you wish to use this service, please sign up via the registration sheet that will be passed out at the meeting prior to the no-school day. The fee for each school-aged child is $5 and can be paid when you drop your child off.

Medications
Please do not bring any medications to the nursery. The staff cannot give any medications (including Tylenol), even with your approval.

Clothing
Children should be dressed in clothing suitable for messy crafts and outdoor play. If your child is in the process of being potty trained, bring a change of clothes (including socks).

Snacks
Children in the back nursery will be given water and crackers or bananas. You are welcome to bring a bottle or sippy cup from home. Upon check in, please label your bottle or sippy cup (we will have a tagging system in place for labeling).

Children in the classrooms will be given snacks to emphasize the day’s lesson/theme. Please do not bring snacks from home without approval of a MOPPETS coordinator. If you prefer your child not to have a snack, please notify the check-in desk. We will respect and avoid food allergies indicated on the registration form.

Toys
Please do not bring toys from home. Each room is well equipped, and the classrooms will have a full agenda of activities. We will make special exceptions for security items needed to ease separation.

Room placement
Children are placed into the nursery or classrooms based on age and class size. They are not to change classrooms at any time during the year without the notification and approval of the MOPPETS coordinators.
